Outdoor Play

Each day children venture outside, so whether that’s to go on a bug hunt, say hello to the farm animals, collect interesting ‘things’, dig to China, or simply wrap up snug for some fresh air, our local outdoor amenities cater for all matter of fun and exploration.

Practitioners take children for walks around their local environment and they are keen to allow children the opportunity to explore further afield with trips to the park, the library, to museums and special events. Visits from local fire-brigade, the police and members of the health services are always very popular with the children. We also have integrated our services with the local children’s centre. Children get involved in community group play activities the children’s centre provide. We have kindly been allocated a lovely allotment area from the children centre, children really love to plant and grow vegetables there.
